Austin Public Health

Our Annual Pre-Juneteenth Health and Wellness Fair draws between 300-400 people from the community. We provide a BBQ plate for each person attending, We are seeking volunteers to help with set up, serving food, serving plates to the elderly, assisting staff with the 30 vendors that set up tables, children's area, parking attendants, persons to direct the plow of people inside the Neighborhood Center, people to ensure there Is plenty of water and to ensure the band has everything they need as well and finally, clean up during and after the event...we will have Keep Austin Beautiful receptacles to assist with recycling.

This is a large event and we call on our co-workers at other centers to assist as well. It is a great tradition and celebration with food, live music and great fellowship.

I will create a sign up genius and you can sign up for a shift in the area that interests you the most. We are excited that you took the time to read this and would love for you to get to know our Center and the Community we serve as you are part of it!
