The Simpsonville Learning Center of Greenville Literacy Association needs your help. We need tutors to help with our morning adult ESL and GED classes. Our spring session is April 16- June 21 and we have some classes without teachers. If you can help during the spring, we'd love to hear from you!
ESL: Our organization works with adults to improve their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Students are divided into small groups by English speaking ability. Still need a Level 4 (low intermediate) teacher for April!
GED: Volunteers work with adults of all ages in small groups to prepare for the GED exam. We often begin at basic levels and study reading/writing, social studies, science, and math. Math, anyone? How about GED Algebra and Geometry? We still need some help.
Training is provided. Fun, positive environment. Come join us!
