Formed in 1996, Bowen McCauley Dance Company is a nonprofit here in Arlington, VA.
We are actively looking to fill One-Two Hour Time slots with volunteers from 12:00 - 3:00 pm on Saturday, March 16. A terrific opportunity for M.S. or H.S. students that are required to earn community service learning hours. Or, enjoy music, dance and performance.

Description
Founded in 1996, Bowen McCauley Dance Co (BMDCo) is renowned for its corps of professional dancers and the unique and sublime choreography of Lucy Bowen McCauley. The company collaborates with world-class musicians, artists and designers. BMDCo performs regionally and nationally, and has been presented at Festivals in such places as Jacob’s Pillow, New York City, Germany, Mexico and China.
BMDCo provides entertaining and educational community outreach programs throughout the region. These popular programs include fun in-school performances, workshops, and after-school residency programs for K-12 students. BMDCo also offers intensive master classes for college and university pre-professional dancers.
BMDCo leads FREE, weekly Dance for Parkinson’s Disease classes for people with Parkinson Disease and their care-partners in seven area locations. BMDCo also offers free Shall We Dance classes, which are inclusive to seniors with varying abilities.
