For those of you 55 and better that enjoy being out and about within the wonderful city of Lowell, this is the place to be at! This volunteer position provides you with an opportunity to give back to you community and make an impact on many lives. Volunteering with the Lowell Police Department allows you to interact with a variety of people, places and events. You will receive proper training, your own uniform, meet new people, ability to try something new in the next phase of your life and have a great time while doing it!

Some things you may be doing, but not limited to:
Direct pedestrian/ vehicle traffic at community events and/or assisting w/ disaster situations
Answer general residential questions, provide directions and general assistance during community events
Present department/city displays & information at community events
Assist with operational support duties during emergencies
Assist at the City and Police reception desks during special activities.
