During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
We are looking for people with skills (basic or advanced) in bicycle maintenance to help with our mission of refurbishing donated bicycles for re-distribution back into the Gallatin Valley community. We are open two evenings per week and Saturday morning, with daytime hours added during the summer. A typical volunteer session at the Bike Kitchen includes working with our volunteer and paid staffers to find a bicycle needing repair, performing those aspects of the repair you are comfortable with (as well as the exciting and empowering learning that comes along with tackling those aspects which you are not). Volunteers can also assist in educating others or providing information about our mission and programs to visitors. We provide a fun environment for all - if you are a "people person" or someone who just wants to wrench away!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.

The Bozeman Bike Kitchen is a fun cooperative cycling hub, empowering and educating the Gallatin Valley by refurbishing bicycles and promoting safe cycling for transportation and recreation.
The Bike Kitchen has humble roots going back to 2004, a group of friends who wished to see bicycling thrive as an opportunity for everyone regardless of their economic status. It has slowly grown and matured from a pile of donated bicycles in one of the founder's driveways to a group of dedicated volunteers and board members operating out of our own space and open multiple days per week to serve the Gallatin Valley.
