2018 Wine Tasting and Home Tour (Friday, May 4 th)

Event Venue: Varies residences along East 36th Street

Event Time: 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Early check-in begins at 5:30 PM in Thomas Square

Volunteer Call Time: 5:00 PM Launch Site and Head Host | 5:15 PM House Docents

Volunteer needs are:

  • Wine tasting Launch Site greeters and check-in assistants
  • Wine tasting Tour Site head host, house docents, wine pourers and food attendants
  • Assist with event setup and breakdown

Wine Tasting Volunteers must attend the Wine Tasting Training on Thursday, April 26th at 6PM at the HSF office, 321 E. York Street.

You will be notified of your house assignment at the Wine Tasting training on Thursday, April 26 th. If you cannot attend the training, please notify HSF Volunteer Coordinator, Chassidy Malloy, and your volunteer assignment will be emailed to you on Friday, April 27 th - however it is strongly encouraged that you attend Wine Tasting training.

Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) is a non-profit historic preservation organization supported by a dedicated membership. The mission of HSF is to save buildings, places and stories that define Savannah's past, present and future. HSF was established in 1955 to save the 1820 Isaiah Davenport House from demolition. From this initial project, we launched a Revolving Fund that has helped save more than 370 buildings and counting. HSF has a staff of eight and a variety of outreach programs that support our mission and educate the public about the benefits of historic preservation.
