The Tiffany Windows Education Center at Arlington Street Church is looking for volunteers to assist us this summer season as we open our doors to tourists and visitors. Arlington Street Church houses one of the most unique and incredible collections of Tiffany stained glass windows and will be open May-October for tours and events. We are recruiting friendly individuals to help us meet our growing visitor base and help support the expansion of our tour programs.
Volunteer Greeters will sit and oversee the welcome table, greet visitors as they enter the museum, and process ticket and gift shop sales. No experience necessary, all training will be provided, but comfort using smartphone/touchscreen technology a must. Friendly faces and a positive attitude desired.
We are looking to fill these specific shifts:
Wednesday: 10am-12:30pm
Wednesday: 12:30pm-3pm
Friday: 10am-12:30pm
Friday: 12:30pm-3pm
Saturday: 12:30pm-3pm
Sunday: 1-4pm (every other Sunday)
With a direct view of the Boston Public Garden, the option to read or work on your own projects in your downtime, and flexible scheduling, this is a great volunteer opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the fields of art and public history, or those looking to spend their time among beautiful art and architecture.
Hours of operation are Sundays 1-4pm. Mondays-Saturdays 10am-3pm, closed Tuesdays.
To apply, send an email to Alissa Butler asctiffany@gmail.com. Please include your availability and a note explaining your interest.
*Potential for internships and larger opportunities for college/graduate students if interested*

Mission Statement
The Arlington Street Tiffany Education Center works to share with in-person and online visitors the Tiffany windows at Arlington Street Church. It is a program of The Foundation for the Preservation of 20 Arlington Street, a non-sectarian charity created in 2016 to restore the Church’s landmark building and share its historic and artistic legacy with the public.
Description
We are proud to share the resplendent beauty and history of our Tiffany stained glass windows with visitors, tourists, and locals in the Greater Boston Area. Our church’s unique heritage has played a essential part in the history of our nation, as does this building, with our unique series of Tiffany windows also tell the story of those who worshiped here and their world -- Boston’s "Golden Age" at the turn of the 20th century. Our Tiffany Education Center offers self- guided tours with an audio guide as well as docent-guided tours during the summer season of May-October.
