ORGANIZATION: Girls Incorporated of Metro Denver

Girls Inc. of Metro Denver is looking for summer volunteers! Volunteers will serve as program assistants with our elementary and middle school programs. This includes:

• Assist with fun, interactive, pro-girl summer activities!
• Provide creative supervisory support during free-time periods.
• Work as a team with Girls Inc. instructors and other volunteers.
• Attend field trips in the Denver community on our shuttles/vans.
• Manager behavior and mediate difficult conversations.
• Maintain a positive environment for all girls through discipline, classroom management and inclusiveness.
• Maintain a constructive environment for all girls through positive reinforcement, discipline, classroom management and inclusiveness.
• Set-up and clean classrooms and perform administrative tasks as needed.
• And so much more!

Volunteers commit for the duration of the program sessions (late Jun through July) are asked to commit to two half-day shifts (mornings from 8:00a-1:30p or afternoons from 12:00-5:30p) or a full-day shift (8:00a-5:30p with lunch break).
