Carlos and kiddo 2
Volunteer Carlos used our new online platform to find a nearby CoachArt student for drum lessons!

Since 2001, CoachArt has matched kids impacted by chronic illness with volunteers who can introduce them to arts and athletics activities.

In Covina, the students currently on our waiting list are requesting activities such as:
- guitar
- piano
- acting
- arts and crafts
- and many more!

We have a new online platform called CoachArt Connect where you can:

  1. Complete your training and background check
  2. See a map and sort a list of the current CoachArt waiting list
  3. Schedule a match directly with the parents

Mission Statement

CoachArt’s mission is to create a transformative arts and athletics community for families impacted by childhood chronic illness.

Description

CoachArt is a non-profit organization offering free lessons in the arts and athletics to children impacted by chronic illness, ages 5-18. Our vision is that one day every family impacted by chronic illness will be connected to a community of support and an opportunity to learn and grow together.

We partner with talented volunteers and arts/athletics programs to offer lessons in music, art, yoga, photography, dance, soccer - and more! Our CoachArt team matches each individual child with our volunteers and program partners, who provide 8 week lessons in a shared activity of choice.
