Volunteers are welcome to donate their time and attend the 23rd International Summit: "Voices Against Violence: Breaking through the Silence". The Summit will be taking place from September 6-9, 2018.
The goals of the Summit are to present the latest research, assessment, and intervention techniques concerning various aspects of child, adolescent maltreatment and adult trauma, as well as the long-term effects of untreated trauma. Plenary and breakout sessions discuss the types of trauma and dynamics of maltreatment, and the psychological, behavioral and neuro-developmental effects.
Volunteers can donate their time at the Summit or at our San Diego office leading up to the Summit. For every 5-hours volunteers donate, one day of registration fees are waived. If volunteers donate +20-hours, you are eligible to attend the entire Summit for $25.00 (a $450 value). In addition to expanding professional experience, Continuing Education credits are also available when you attend workshops.
