We mean that in a good way of course!
Join up and assist with conducting vacation house checks while citizens are away. You also act as extra eyes and ears for officers by patrolling parks, schools and other areas where crime may be occurring.
You can volunteer during the daytime on shifts of your choice. Just 2 shifts per month and as many community events as you like!
In addition to helping the community with safety needs, we need volunteers to greet the public, connect with community at events and provide administrative support.
A successful volunteer is: Observant, Conscientious and a Good Communicator.
This opportunity published by RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program). We help people over age 55 find volunteer jobs in their community.
(You do not need to be 55 to volunteer.)
