Blacks in Tech will be hosting our annual conference, #BITCON2019, October 9th-12th in Twin Cities, MN. We are seeking an array of volunteers to make this an innovative, interactive and entertaining event. Please see list of opportunities below

Blogger - Become a contributor for our blog and e-newsletter.
Videographer/Video Editors - BIT is developing a video production team to capture the BIT conference as well as create a documentary and promo vids.
Corporate Ambassador - Share the conference opportunity with your company and ERG Groups to become a partner/sponsor
University Ambassador - Share the opportunity with your university club organization to provide specialized discounts for students
Event Volunteers - BIT will need on site event volunteers to help produce a high quality and seamless 3-day event.
Social Media Ambassador - Share the BIT Conference event to different social media networks to help expand our outreach initiatives
Minneapolis/St.Paul Ambassadors - As local ambassadors you will be required to share our event in the Twin Cities area as well communicate potential partnership opportunities to the BIT Conference planning committee
Graphic Designers - Graphic designers are needed to develop concepts and create themes to visually communicate to our audience
PR Outreach Team - The PR team will be responsible for partnering with magazines, newspapers, and community organizations to share our event in their newsletters, websites, calendars, etc.

Blacks In Technology is the largest community and media organization that focuses on black women and black men in the technology industry. Through community-focused activities, events and media, Blacks In Technology (BIT) is "Stomping the Divide" by establishing a blueprint of world-class technical excellence and innovation by providing resources, guidance and issuing a challenge to our members to surpass the high mark and establish new standards of global innovation. BIT is a tech focused community and media organization that is dedicated to increasing the representation and participation of black women and men in the technology industry.

Description

During Fall 2019 BIT will continue to achieve our mission by hosting our annual conference in Twin Cities, MN. We have organized our chapters nationwide to take part in this necessary and important initiative to help reduce disparities of blacks employed in the tech industry as well as increase the number of successful black tech entrepreneurs. BIT has created this platform as a call for action to help fill the gaps for blacks to move forward in the tech industry.
