The Cedar Valley Arboretum and Botanic Gardens is looking for garden helpers to assist us with maintaining the gardens through weeding, watering, mulching, and other upkeep based activities as needed. Ideal time commitment would be at least once a week for 1-2 hours but we are very flexible! All new Arboretum volunteers will need to fill out a volunteer application which can be accessed by visiting https://goo.gl/forms/giqAzKVQMucsF9E12. A staff member will follow up with you regarding training.
Families and organizations are encouraged to adopt a garden and work as a team to help us fight the constant battle of weeds. Volunteers will want to wear protective clothing for the working conditions as we are an all-outdoor facility.
