Summer Food and Fun is a FREE weekly summer program for kids and their families. We provide breakfast, activities, educational presentations, and sack lunches every Wednesday morning in the summer months. We are looking for a little extra help with preparing breakfast and lunch and with supervising the activities. Typical activities include arts and crafts, games, reading, and physical activity.
Volunteers helping with meal preparations may be needed from 7 am to 11:30 am. Volunteers helping with activities supervision may be needed from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.
This program is hosted every Wednesday from 9 am to 11 am, June 27th to August 15th (excluding July 4th) at the Wenatchee Community Center.
Whether you can help out once, or all seven weeks, we would love to have you be a part of making this program educational, safe, and most importantly FUN!
