ORGANIZATION: Meals on Wheels Orange County

SeniorServ is looking for a friendly visitor for a lonely, isolated senior and her senior daughter in Stanton. As a friendly visitor, you visit in the home of the older adult and offer conversation, friendship, and understanding. A commitment of one hour per week is all that is expected, but it will mean the world to these seniors. They have a cat and both are lonely and looking for a woman outside of their home to talk to.

As a volunteer you will be a part of SeniorServ, who provides meals on wheels and other services for over 900 homebound seniors in Orange County, to help seniors remain as independent as possible. SeniorServ's mission is to nourish the wellness, purpose, and dignity of seniors and their families in our community. The Friendly Visitor Program is an important part of that mission.
