About

About the project: in the summer of 2018 Colors of Connection is launching
the Tunaweza Portraits Project, which means "we are able" in Swahili, in Goma, Democratic
Republic of Congo (DRC). By giving adolescent girls a chance to represent themselves as the
powerful and capable individuals that they are through posters and collaborative murals, Colors
of Connection will help these girls become agents of change in their communities and most
importantly to be seen differently by their families, friends, and even the international public.

About the volunteer position: We are looking for a volunteer to help us to create content for our social media channels: FB, Twitter, and Instagram: which includes managing content and finding relevant news articles, videos, etc. to post and share. as we lead up to the launch off our crowdfunding campaign May 1, and to the launch of the project on July 1.

This is an opportunity to share a different story coming out of Eastern Congo.

If you are interested in joining us in a volunteer capacity and to learn more connect with me and I can send along our promo video for the project.

Thank you!

Christina
