Did you know that a child with a parent in prison is significantly more likely than their peers to be incarcerated themselves later on in life (one study found up to 5 times more likely)? Did you know Oklahoma incarcerates women at a higher rate than anywhere else in the world? New Hope Oklahoma works with youth 5-18 who have/have had an incarcerated parent, with the mission to end generational incarceration. We provide after school programs, holiday parties, case management, summer camps, and overnight retreats, among other services.
Among other services, New Hope provides community groups, where children of incarcerated parents develop social, emotional, and leadership skills. Because transportation is often a barrier to many in out community, we provide transportation to children in our program. Help us to serve more children by volunteering to ride along on our transportation routes to drop off children at their schools, homes, or other community locations after group.

Mission Statement
Through hope and opportunity for children of prisoners, New Hope creates positive, productive, contributing members of society.
Description
At New Hope, lives are renewed everyday. When a child's parent goes to prison, life as they know it ends. Through our life affirming programs, children are lifted from isolation and fear, into possibility and hope. This is achieved by a circle of adults who care, a safe place with others who understand, a chance to imagine a life of possibilities and new futures born though hope, everyday.
