CentroNYC seeks dedicated volunteers with a passion for intercultural exchange and learning who can help manage promotion of our programs through major online social media platforms. The Social Media Lead would work closely with Marketing and be responsible for curating thoughtful content and populating our pages with recent activity updates on a weekly basis.
This volunteer will be expected to be onsite a minimum of 4 times in addition to remote work throughout the course of the Spring term on Tuesdays OR Thursday evenings. The term runs from Tuesday, May 1 st to Thursday, June 21 st. The volunteer will also be expected to join us for our end of term celebration on Friday, June 22 nd.
Volunteers should have a passion for intercultural exchange, immigration rights, and community education, and demonstrate alignment with our mission and goals.
Foreign language experience a plus.
Volunteers find a real sense of community at Centro, often staying for many years, and bringing their friends, family, and coworkers to join too. Volunteers themselves are welcome to take any class offered free of charge.
