Salesforce Volunteer Description

The mission of the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation (CSNDC) is to build a better, stronger community in Codman Square and South Dorchester by creating housing and commercial spaces that are safe, sustainable, and affordable, promoting financial and economic stability for residents and for the neighborhood, and providing residents of all ages with opportunities and skills to empower themselves to improve their lives.

CSNDC seeks a volunteer who will use Salesforce to document the great work each of our five main departments complete; organize and sort data; edit existing records; and standardize and update names to match the Director of Systems’s architecture plan.

Salesforce is the leading Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system across the globe, and those with Salesforce skills are in great demand. The volunteer will be given optimized training in how to use Salesforce, with keen training and opportunity to practice building new Salesforce structures. No prior experience with Salesforce is required, but basic to intermediate familiarity with computers and general office programs is required. Also required, the patience and ability to learn new concepts.

Minimum commitment of 3 months+ of service for 6+ hours per week; preferred 6 month+ commitment for 8+ hours per week. This position requires completing work at the CSNDC office.
