Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak El Paso County, Colorado
Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12) to be that youth's mentor and friend, engaging in mutual enjoyable activities of their own choosing. Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times a month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and the match relationship, offering assistance, suggestions and counsel.
Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and auto-insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check.
Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak is in need of male volunteers to be mentors. We currently have several Little Brothers enrolled waiting to be matched with a Big. Please consider volunteering today!
Also, please spread the word! If you know of someone who would be a great role model to a child, direct them to us.
