Catholic Charities can use volunteers to move furniture from one floor to another at our location near St. Cloud State University. This includes disassembling bed frames and moving them, mattresses, desks, dressers and other medium to large furniture. Groups of 6 or more volunteers for up to 4 hours would work well.
We can also use volunteers who are willing to sort items and carrying items (or push items on a cart) to the dumpster or a designated area to be picked up by other organizations. Groups of 4 or more for 4-8 hours would work well.
If a large group is interested in the opportunity, it would work well for a group of 20-30 to volunteer for up to 4 hours and combine the moving and sorting projects.
There is flexibility in scheduling; we prefer Monday - Friday, 8:30a - 4:30p, but can make evenings/weekends work if needed.
The address is 1726 7th Ave S, St. Cloud, MN 56301. Park near the main entrance and enter through the main entrance. This may be locked; however, staff will meet you at the start time.
