Volunteer at our Lil Anglers Fishing Clinic and Derby. We need help with the following:
- Teach kids how to fish using simple hands on activities (Stations include: knot tying, fish ID, safety, River Crime Lab which teaches kids about storm water pollution.)
- Help families fish (fishing experience required)
- Assist with setting up or taking down fishing poles
Project Partners: River Keepers and FM Walleyes Unlimited.

Interested in attending?
Clinic- 5:30-6:30pm (free food and fishing gear while supplies last)
Derby Announcements- 6:30pm
Derby- 6:45-7:45pm (ages 13 and under)
Award Ceremony- 7:45-8pm Learn all about casting, knot tying, fish identification and more at the fishing clinic. All (adults included) are welcome and encouraged to participate! Youth participants 13 and younger can compete and try to reel in a big one during the derby!
*It is encouraged to bring fishing poles (but a limited number will be available to borrow).
*Adult supervision is required.
*Fishing license not required for youth 15 and under.
*This is a catch and release program.
*Bait will be supplied.

Description
River Keepers is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization advocating for safe and sustainable use of the Red River of the North. We work with the community to LEARN about the Red River, so they become good stewards and help SUSTAIN the river, and safely ENJOY it. River Keepers grew from a desire to rediscover the Red River’s heritage, and to teach people to again appreciate the Red as a living River.
