Sherman Scott Howard Community Day is a day of FUN for the community. We have games, vendors, food, and more.
We need volunteers to help setup, work with vendors, control the crowd, and clean up at the end of the event.
We are looking for high school students, at least 15 years old and active adults. Volunteer efforts will begin at 11 am and go to 4 pm. Training will be conducted at the event 11:00 am to 11:15 am.

Mission Statement
God Glorified Church of God In Christ is a Pentecostal holiness church. Our Mission is to re-present Christ in serving the local and global community, as well as the body of Christ with love, support, and integrity. By empowering people spiritually, educationally, and vocationally, they will be encouraged and motivated to glorify God. Through the knowledge, application and proclamation of the Word of God, mankind will be reconciled to God. To achieve the mission, we will: A. Implement various Outreach initiatives Transitional housing, elder/day care, marketplace ministry B. Foster discipleship Lifestyle of prayer, fasting, and worship, employing Bible-based instruction, practical application of God’s Word C. Provide fellowship Cultivating relationships with others through planned activities, gatherings, etc. D. Evangelize As an outreach church we are committed to the reaching and deliverance of souls in the marketplace.

God Glorified Church of God in Christ is dedicated to representing Christ to mankind through the integrity of holiness. Our endeavor is to minister to souls spiritually, emotionally and socially.
We will empower and educate people for a culturally diverse and global community to establish God’s kingdom on earth.
We will encourage mankind to rely fully on Almighty God as their source; thus building strong families, demonstrating God’s love to the world and changing lives forever, one soul at a time.
