Philly Goat Project is a small program located at the Farm at Awbury in Germantown. PGP has opportunities for individuals to help with barn and landscaping tasks on an ongoing basis. Individual or family volunteers are only accepted with a long term commitment due to the extensive training required. Please view the website ( https://www.phillygoatproject.org/volunteer ) . Young people are encouraged to help out if they are mature and accompanied by a parent, suggest minimum age is 12. Because our goats are well trained and require a lot of specific care, volunteers are required to commit to helping out for a minimum of 4 months one hour a week or two hours every other week. Private events with the goats may be arranged via email to director@phillygoatproject.org.
