In celebration of National Infant Immunization Week, we will be hosting the Las Vegas Baby Bash, which is a FREE community baby shower. On Friday, April 27, 2018 from 11AM to 4PM, at the Southern Nevada Health District (280 S Decatur Blvd, Downtown, NV 89107), we are in need of about 5 volunteers to help with line management for vaccines, raffle prizes, etc.
National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is an annual observance to highlight the importance of protecting infants from vaccine-preventable diseases and celebrate the achievements of immunization programs and their partners in promoting healthy communities.
At the Las Vegas Baby Bash, the Southern Nevada Health District will be holding an immunization clinic for small children. Reduced cost and free vaccines for qualifying children will be offered through the Vaccines for Children program. It is also a health fair that connect young children and parents to health resources across the valley.
Our volunteers will assist where ever needed throughout this large event.

Immunize Nevada is a statewide network of individuals, businesses, public health entities and organizations committed to improving and protecting the health of children, teens, adults and seniors in Nevada.
Established 17 years ago as a small group of citizens concerned about Nevada’s immunization rate being the lowest in the country, Immunize Nevada now consists of more than 100 members working together to help improve the health of Nevadans through vaccination awareness, outreach and education.
Immunize Nevada is pleased to announce that we have been certified by Points of Light as a Service Enterprise! A Service Enterprise is an organization that fundamentally leverages volunteers and their skills throughout their organization to successfully deliver on its social mission.
