ORGANIZATION: Altus Hospice

There is something special about music and how it soothes the soul. Altus Hospice is seeking Music Volunteers who can sing and or/play music (keyboard, guitar)for our terminally ill patients. Volunteers play an important role in providing social and emotional support to our terminally ill patients and their families. The families of our terminally ill patients are amazed at the reaction the patient has when they hear music. I have personally seen it calm patients who appeared to be in excruciating pain. It seemed at though their focus shifted from their pain to the sweet sound of music.

Come join us in making a difference in our patients!

Requirements: Volunteer Training, TB Skin Test, and background checks.
Must have current drivers license/ auto insurance.
