Join us for a morning of controlling Scotch broom on the Petersen Ranch!

This work party is a unique opportunity to visit the conservation easement at our Lower Reach protected area. We visit this site only once a year, and we'll finish the morning with a barbecue and picnic lunch on the river, generously hosted by the Petersen family. Join us for this special day!

Mission Statement

The Nisqually Land Trust acquires and manages critical lands to permanently benefit the water, wildlife, and people of the Nisqually River Watershed.

Description

The Nisqually Land Trust is a non-profit organization that acquires, maintains, and restores important lands along the Nisqually River to viable habitat for salmon and other wildlife.

It was established in 1989 to protect wildlife habitat threatened by the consequences of rapid population growth. Today it conserves and restores over 5,000 acres throughout the Nisqually River watershed.
