Be a part of the largest conference for women living with HIV in the world! Legacy Counseling's 20th annual Grace Project Conference is a weekend of inspiration, education, and fellowship you won't want to miss. Over 200 positive women from across the country come together to learn from healthcare professionals, gain life skills like workforce development training, and make lifelong friendships with other women experiencing an overwhelming, often isolating disease.

Mission Statement

The mission of Legacy Counseling Center is to provide affordable and quality mental health care, substance abouse treatment, and special care housing services to to people in the North Texas area who are impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Description

Legacy Counseling Center was founded in 1989 by a small group of individuals living with AIDS who needed a place to go for support and healing. Today, Legacy Counseling Center serves over 1,000 individuals living with HIV/AIDS annually by providing mental health counseling, substance abuse treatment, housing referral assistance, and women’s programs.

Counseing: Providing one-on-one and group mental health and substance abuse counseling and care for persons living with HIV/AIDS.

Founders Cottage: Legacy Founders Cottage provides specialized care for people living with AIDS in critical stages of their illness.

Housing: Assisting people living with HIV/AIDS to find affordable housing options to prevent homelessness and improve their quality of life.

Grace Project: Women's program focused on supporting, educating, and empowering women living with HIV/AIDS.
