Are you bilingual with compassion for others? Looking for a meaningful way to use your time? Do you have a flexible schedule with a couple of hours free per week? If you answered yes, we would love to meet you!!

Serenity Hospice cares for patients and their families facing the challenges of a terminal illness. We are seeking Volunteers who can provide companionship for patients (and their families) on service.

If you are bilingual with a flexible schedule, we want to meet you! Your time is greatly appreciated, and the experience will be mutually beneficial.

Mission Statement

Our Mission To prevent and relieve suffering and promote quality of life through patient centered and family inclusive care, education and advocacy; delivered with compassion and thoughtful consideration of each individual's beliefs and values.


The word "Hospice" means, "a place of shelter for travelers on a difficult journey."

Hospice care is a team-oriented approach to expert medical care and pain management of the patient, and emotional and spiritula suport for the faptient's family and friends. The patient's wishes are always considered and respected. Hospice philosophy is based on the belief that patients have the right to die with dignity and without pain, while enjoying the highest quality of life possible. The focus is not on curative measures, but rather relief of symptoms. the patient and family are encouraged to participate in planning and performing the care, to the extent that they wish to do so. The Hospice team is there to care, instruct, educate and support the family.
