Do you support educational equity but aren't sure how you can help? The Youth Tutoring Program needs caring and dedicated volunteers like you to be mentors and tutors for students living in six low-income housing communities around Seattle. This is your chance to make a difference this year!

YTP serves a diverse group of students, 99% of whom are children of color and many who come from East African immigrant and refugee families. We match tutors and students 1:1 to foster the best mentoring and tutoring relationships. We focus on skill building so our students to catch-up and get ahead in school.

Not only do we train our volunteers to be effective tutors, we provide our volunteers with the tools they need (such as individualized tutor plans and skill-building activities) to make a difference!

Why Volunteer?
