ORGANIZATION: San Francisco Conservation Corps

We have been around for 35 years! Come visit us.

We serve at group of young adult 18 to 25 who need their high school diploma. There are three shifts were we need support:

1st: Academy only (Monday - Thursday) 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
2nd: Pre-Diplomas (Monday - Thursday) 2:30 - 4:30 pm
3rd: Friday School (Friday) 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Most corpsmembers/students who are enrolled in our program attend 7:30 am for PT and go to work from 8:05 - 2:15 pm and then will be attending class 2:30-4:30 pm.

Mission Statement

Founded in 1983, the San Francisco Conservation Corps has been providing local youth (ages 11- 26) with opportunities to develop themselves, their academic abilities and marketable job skills, while addressing community needs through service work.

Description

Community Service and Training Center is for 18-26 year old young adults, providing job training, improving academic abilities and opportunities to develop personally. The Environmental Community Outreach Center houses an after-school and summer program for middle and high school youth.

  • Must be at least 21
  • Orientation or Training
  • Monday through Thursdays (10:00 am - 2:00 pm) or 2:30-4:30 pm and Fridays 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • We are looking for a group of dedicated volunteers to support our growing community of young adults which we serve. SFCC has been serving young adults in the community for 36 years. Our partnership with John Muir Charter School continues to grow.
