Help at the Hackettstown Scavenger Hunt Earth Day Pub Crawl to Promote Clean Water

This is an event to raise awareness and money about clean water in the New Jersey Highlands and celebrate the importance of good ingredients in craft beer! We are also promoting tourism in the beautiful part of the New Jersey Highlands...Hackettstown! We have fun and interactive trivia-challenges-clues contest and specials being offered at each of the participating locations.
The pub crawl will start at 11AM and end at 9:00PM.
Volunteers (21 years of age or older) receive free entrance to the Hopped Up Scavenger Pub Crawl in Hackettstown.
Volunteer opportunities at the 3rd Hackettstown pub crawl include (shifts are 3-5 hours) or stay the whole time from 9:30AM - 9:30PM:
- 1) Shift 9:30AM - 1:30PM
Working the Registration Table at Long Valley Brew Pub, handing out items and processing ticket sales. Ticket collectors will be responsible for scanning pre-paid paper/smart-phone tickets via the Eventbrite app and Groupon app software. Volunteer hands out materials including wrist bands, parking passes, event program, oversees supplies and prizes. Invites participant to sign the 'Clean Water Pledge’ banner. Training will be provided. Arrive at the tent in front of Long Valley Brew Pub at 9:30AM on 4/13/19
- 2) Shift 2:00PM - 9:00M or 4:00PM - 9:00PM
Volunteers will also be responsible for choosing the winners of the Scavenger Hunt Pub Crawl Contest. Tallying of the results of the scavenger hunt begins at 7:30PM. Winners announced approximately 8:45PM.
Volunteers will announce scavenger hunt activity and get people excited about participating and engaged throughout the pub crawl.
Other volunteer opportunities once the volunteer opportunities above have been filled (shifts range 9:30AM - 3:00PM, 2:00PM - 5:00PM, 4:30PM - 9:00M)

Izzo's Brew Bus will be shuttling bar crawlers to select locations. The cost of using Izzo's Brew Bus is included in the cost of a ticket (Now $30 on Eventbrite and the day of the event at Long Valley Brew Pub is $35)

The New Jersey Highlands Coalition is the only non-profit organization whose entire focus is on protecting the aquifers, forests, farmlands, wildlife, historic resources and diverse recreational opportunities found in the New Jersey Highlands, the State’s prized piece of the Appalachian Mountain chain. We are made up of many member organizations, small and large, local, regional, statewide and nationa as well as hundreds of individual members who have joined together to safeguard and defend this critical area. Founded in 2005, the Coalition was incorporated in 2006, and received its 501(c)(3) status in 2007. Our most pressing need is to preserve the quality and quantity of Highlands drinking water that 5.4 million people, 64% of the State’s population, and a majority of its economy,depend on.
