The National Kidney Foundation will be hosting a KEEP Healthy free kidney screening from 7:30am to 11:30am at the upcoming Charlotte Kidney Walk being held at Gateway Village Promenade (800 West Trade St., Charlotte, NC 28202.
What is KEEP Healthy
The National Kidney Foundation's community based initiative to educate about the kidneys, risk factors for kidney disease, and steps to take to keep kidneys healthy and reduce risk.
Who can be volunteer?
Volunteer presenters can be healthcare professionals or nonprofessionals- however they must have some knowledge of or personal experience with chronic kidney disease. We need your help!
What are the responsibilities of a volunteer?
- Registration
- Risk Evaluation Survey
- Blood Pressure Assessments
- BMI Assessments
- Urinalysis testing
- Consultation
- Program Evaluation Survey
- Distribute kidney health education to all participants (provided by NKF)
- Raise awareness about kidney disease
