Saturday, May 12 th is the Annual Postal Food Drive that brings in the LARGEST amount of donated non-perishable food items ALL YEAR!
Every year it brings in THOUSANDS of pounds of food! This allows us to keep the shelves stocked for months.And benefits hundreds of clients and multiple programs here at the Glendale Corps.
This event is an extremely fun, team-building experience for all types of groups; employees, church, school, etc. This year we are looking for 80-100 volunteers for shifts: 1pm-6pm and 3pm - 8pm **This is also a wonderful opportunity to meet your community service hours for school, work, etc.**

Our goal is that The Salvation Army in Glendale will become known in the community as a Christian Church that is spiritually alive in Christ; has a vision of a community-based church made up of multiple ethnic groups in the neighborhood; will provide a spiritual social services ministry/community outreach.
