Volunteers with School on Wheels meet with homeless children and youth for one hour, each week to encourage, motivate, and teach. Homeless children and youth often miss many months of schooling and may quickly fall behind in their education. School on Wheels works to bridge those gaps by providing backpacks, school supplies, scholarships and reaching out to great, local volunteers like you! In Santa Barbara, there is a high need for tutors able to work with Spanish-speaking students. No prior tutoring experience is necessary. We provide training and resources to help you and your student succeed! Please help us make a difference in our community and visit our website at to apply.
