MCN is a horror show convention and film festival whose promoters are passionate against human trafficking. An ability to engage with the public is more important than an extensive knowledge of human trafficking. We need people for various shifts to help pass out materials, and take donations for our Pawz Kitchen products that all benefit human trafficking survivors.
We will have two tables for Pawz Kitchen (aka BRANCH: A New Beginning).
BRANCH: A New Beginning is our mother organization that has a long-term goal of developing housing for trafficking survivors. Pawz Kitchen is a division of BRANCH. It helps with funding for immediate needs of survivors. Pawz Kitchen makes all natural pet treats and supplements where all proceeds go to BRANCH. Our goal is to eventually give survivors of human trafficking gainful employment at Pawz Kitchen.
Hours of event are:
Friday - 4:00pm to 10:00pm
Saturday - 10:00 am to 7:00pm
Sunday - 11:00am to 5:00pm

BRANCH: A New Beginning is a non-profit Christian organization committed to postively changing the lives of women and restoring hope by teaching pesonal accountability, boundaries, integrity, life skills education, and work-related programs. The foundation of change is a life centered at the heart of Biblical principles.
Description
BRANCH is a Southeast Michigan non-profit organization (status pending) that is working on residential aftercare to help victims of human trafficking. We have been awaiting our tax exempt status for 16 months now, but we are still working on our first home. So our biggest form of income right now is our famous recycling program.
