Training is as an essential component of strengthening our capabilities as volunteer managers. Through this training, we are working towards establishing a strong volunteer engagement platform which is conducive to growing volunteer participation and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruct Volunteer Services courses in partnership with Doctrine and Training NHQ training plan to the respective region.
• Responsible for 2-4 hours of facilitation per session.
• Responsible to teach a minimum of 3 times a year
• Prepare materials for course participants and provide/respond to evaluation.
• Assist with set up the day before of the course.
• Preparation to teach: 1 hour meeting with co-facilitators to review day.

• Ability to facilitate and lead assigned course sections, without the use of notes.
• Classroom teaching and Volunteer Services experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months as a volunteer or Red Cross employee.
• Experience facilitating soft skills courses.
• Comfortable speaking in front of others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to course location.
