Training is as an essential component of strengthening our capabilities as volunteer managers. Through this training, we are working towards establishing a strong volunteer engagement platform which is conducive to growing volunteer participation and satisfaction.
Instruct Volunteer Services courses in partnership with Doctrine and Training NHQ training plan to the respective region.
Responsible for 2-4 hours of facilitation per session.
Responsible to teach a minimum of 3 times a year
Prepare materials for course participants and provide/respond to evaluation.
Assist with set up the day before of the course.
Preparation to teach: 1 hour meeting with co-facilitators to review day.
Ability to facilitate and lead assigned course sections, without the use of notes.
Classroom teaching and Volunteer Services experience preferred.
Minimum of 6 months as a volunteer or Red Cross employee.
Experience facilitating soft skills courses.
Comfortable speaking in front of others.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
