ORGANIZATION: American Cancer Society

  • 1 person is interested

The American Cancer Society Relay for Life movement is the world’s largest and most impactful fundraising event to end cancer. It unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take to action to finish the fight against cancer once and for all.

Without the support of thousands of volunteers like you, local Relay for Life events are not successful and we need YOUR help in planning the event! There are various levels of commitment and opportunities in the following areas:

  • Cancer Survivor and Caregiver Reception
  • Entertainment at the Event
  • Luminaria Ceremony
  • Opening & Closing Ceremonies
  • Hospitality at the Event (food donations, water, etc.)
  • Team recruitment
  • Sponsorship
  • Fundraising
  • Day of Event Volunteer (staffing various tasks throughout the day)

Event details: FREE registration available at www.relayforlife.org . If you have questions or are interested in helping plan the event, please contact Wendy Fisher at 208-422-0175.
