Mentor2.0 matches high school students from Atlas Preparatory School with college-educated mentors in the Colorado Springs community, providing the students with support and guidance through their high school career to prepare them for the future.

The majority of the mentorship is done over a secure online platform (iMentor), as a "pen pal mentorship." This allows for busy professionals to flex their time-investment around their schedules. In addition, there are monthly events for in-person mentoring hosted at Atlas Preparatory School and facilitated by Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age and have the equivalent credit hours of a two-year degree.

Volunteers must also be willing to commit to the program for four years, as we try to make matches from freshman year through graduation.

We still need mentors for the current freshman class, but we are gearing up to campaign for volunteers for the upcoming freshman class, which will be about 130 students. Which means, we will need 130 volunteer mentors.

If your company or business is interested in getting your employees involved with community volunteering, this may be the best program! During the monthly meetings, your employees would all be together, volunteering together, on a monthly basis.
