Communities in Schools of Tacoma is providing after-school reading tutoring at Arlington Elementary School for students who need extra support and help. This year, the need is so great that we have expanded into two rooms!
This program is so important to our students who could use extra reading support. You can make a difference in a child's education by volunteering with us today!
Tutors are needed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 PM-5:00 PM and we would appreciate any level of time commitment you could contribute.

Description
Communities In Schools is part of the 5th largest youth development organization in the country. We are the only ones proven to increase graduation rates AND decrease dropout rates.
We serve as the bridge between the student and the community, bringing in resources that help break down the barriers that students have to be successful in school.
