Join Little Stony Point Citizens' Association and Riverkeeper for a cleanup of Cold Spring's Little Stony Point Park by Water on Saturday, May 5, 2018 for the 7th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries.

Volunteers will meet at the park entrance along 9D. Little Stony Point Park (3011 Route 9D, Cold Spring, NY) can be accessed by a bridge (north of the Caretaker's House) over the railroad tracks which is located across the MetroNorth tracks just south of the Ossining Train Station. This is a cleanup at Sandy Beach and by kayak up to Breakneck. We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, a reusable water bottle, and snacks. Bring your personal kayak, immersion clothing, and required PDFs for the shoreline cleanup by kayak, open to experienced paddlers only. Please be advised that the water is still cold- so dress for immersion and bring a change of clothes- we hug the shoreline and climb out often- the bank is extremely rough- paddlers remaining in boats are very helpful in ferrying detritus back to the beach. This site is suitable for elementary-aged children with proper adult supervision.
