The Kentucky Horse Park is home to 260 campsites for visitors to hook up, hang out and enjoy the events at the park! We are looking for responsible, timely and patient volunteers to be Campground Hosts for the season. Volunteers are needed to assist the staff with checking in visitors, helping with the sites and upkeep of the campground (included but not limited to trash, limbs, down trees, camper parking, bikes, etc.) Campground hosts are required to work a minimum of 18 hours/week, and can be eligible for a discount on their camping fee's. Campground hosts must have their own camper and live on premises while serving volunteer hours throughout the season. Hosts will help with special KHP Campground events as well as park-wide events! No equine experience necessary! Must have valid drivers licence, pass background check and attend interview/orientation.

As the only Park in the world dedicated to the horse, we offer visitors a chance to see a variety of breeds of horses in their daily routines, against a background of an immaculately kept Kentucky Horse Farm.The Kentucky Horse Park was formed in 1978 and the Volunteer program initiated in 2000.
