Community Based Mentoring

Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak
El Paso County, Colorado

Community Based Mentoring: Volunteers are matched with a child (ages 9 to 12), who is facing various forms of adversity, to be their mentor and their friend.

Volunteers commit to a minimum of one year, spending time with the same child two to four times a month. Big Brothers Big Sisters staff members support the mentors and the match relationship, offering suggestions, counsel, and assistance.

Volunteers must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license with auto insurance, and be able to pass an extensive background check.

This is our traditional mentoring program for which Big Brothers Big Sisters is best and most known for, nationally.

Right now, Big Brothers Big Sisters - Pikes Peak is in need of men to volunteer. We need male mentors to match with youth who are currently enrolled; we have Little Brothers waiting to be matched with a Big.

Please consider volunteering today! And please spread the word!
