Need some extra spending money for the summer? Preferred Hospice is in need of summer volunteers to visit patients receiving hospice care. We reimburse mileage for all volunteers. $0.47 a mile adds up quickly! Volunteers visit with patients and provide emotional support and comfort. We serve patients every where within an hour radius of our office in Ozark. This provides many opportunities for volunteers to visit patients where it is convenient for them. Preferred Hospice provides all training an education that is needed. We also provide support and encouragement to our volunteers, remaining in contact in case needs arise. Description
Preferred Hospice is a Missouri-based company comprised of a multidisciplinary team of Healthcare workers who specialize in end-of-life care. Among the senior team are Physician and Nurses who together bring over 50 years of Healthcare experience. We serve patients within an hour radius of our home office in Ozark Missouri.
Volunteers are essential to the Preferred Hospice Team. Direct Patient Volunteers provide companionship to patients while offering emotional support and comfort. Direct Patient Volunteers may also provide respite and assistance to patient caregivers. Office and Administrative Volunteers assist the office staff with many things from mail outs to data entry. Training, education, and mileage reimbursement is provided.
