research

At Hannan we're working to end Ageism. In doing so we need assistance following the trends in aging--how are older adults being portrayed in the media? What new research about aging is becoming popular? How are older adults living in their communities?

Hannan staff will offer guidance on the direction of research including key terms, program models, and schools of thought.

The Research Assistant would take time at home, a coffee shop, in Hannan's offices or wherever they're most comfortable to identify and follow these trends and report them to Hannan staff. If the person likes to write, blog writing opportunities about those trends and information may be made available as well. The research the person does will be used for program development, fund development, as well as educational opportunities.
