Join the Riverside Park Conservancy and Riverkeeper for a shoreline cleanup of Riverside Park at 148th Street, west of Riverside Drive, on Sunday, May 5,2018 for the 7th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep, a day of service for the Hudson River and its tributaries.

Volunteers will meet in Riverside Park (148th street entrance) down by the Hudson RIver near the baseball field and basketball courts (see below). We ask all Sweep volunteers to wear sturdy shoes or boots, clothing that they can get dirty, and to bring a hat, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle andsnacks. Please bring work gloves if you have them. Do not bring additional bags, as there is really no place to store belongings. This project is sutable for elementary-aged children with adult supervision.

Getting to Riverside Park:

BY TRAIN: Take the #1 to 145th St. and walk north for three blocks until you hit 148th St. Walk west on 148th until you hit Riverside Drive. Cross the street and go down the staircase. Walk over the bridge and go down the staircase to the right. Continue through the underpass and take the path to the left between the baseball field and basketball courts. We will be waiting under the Riverside Park Conservancy tent!

BY CAR: Parking available from southbound Henry Hudson Parkway. Take Exit 13 toward 158th St and make an immediate left. The parking lots will be ahead on your right. Drive to the second parking lot, and walk south along the Hudson River about a block to meet us at the tent.
