Purpose: To help with reception of current and prospective students and tutors duties at the Literacy Council offices, as well assistance with answering phones.
-The Front Desk Assistant will greet incoming visitors and direct them to the appropriate rooms or staff person.
-The Front Desk Assistant will manage a multi-line phone system and direct calls to the appropriate staff person.
-The Front Desk Assistant will be very comfortable using a computer.
-The Front Desk Assistant will be comfortable using Google applications
-The Front Desk Assistant may also take and pass on messages when staff is unavailable to answer visitor inquiries.
-Other admin duties may be assigned.
Hours: Ideally 9:30am-12:30pm
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Comfortable with multi-line phone systems
-Comfortable with Microsoft Office
-Comfortable with Google applications.
Support: The Literacy Council will provide all the resources the Front Desk Assistant needs.
