The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition is holding its first New York City Run/Walk To Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer on Saturday, May 19th on Roosevelt Island!

The NOCC's mission is to work tirelessly to prevent and cure ovarian cancer, and to improve the quality of life for survivors. The Run/Walk increases awareness, honors those affected by ovarian cancer, and raises funds to support the NOCC's national and local programs. Please join us as we welcome over 500 participants as we change the future of ovarian cancer one step at a time.

Roosevelt Island is easily accessible by subway, tram and ferry and offers fantastic views of Manhattan, Queens and beyond!

Volunteers are needed from 7:00 am to 12 noon. If you can only come for part of that time, please still contact us. We also need some volunteers to come earlier and stay later.
Duties include event set-up, managing our designated tents, registration help, course marshalls, and a number of other logistic needs.
