Royal Love


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Planning and organizing Royal Love event activities in support of the overall mission and goals
  • Manage event logistics such as facilities, tickets, audience management activities, concessionaires, caterers, and vendors, and facilitation of communication and services with speakers and facility maintenance staff; provides technical support for activities
  • Manage event analysis via research, feedback, and client communication
  • Pro-actively debrief with Executive Director and other staff project elements when completed
  • Provide constant, efficient communication between all parties, ensuring information regarding all projects are accurate


  • Previous experience as an event coordinator and/or with nonprofits preferred
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to establish rapport and work as a team player
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and oral)
  • Ability to comprehend, recall, retrieve and communicate verbal and written instructions quickly, clearly, and accurately
  • Ability to work professionally under pressure and under tight deadlines
  • Ability to set priorities, anticipate and meet multiple deadlines, and balance concurrent tasks with frequent interruptions and ambiguity
  • Have an understanding of budgeting and financial management
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

*Ability to attend Royal Love events. Must attend monthly meetings held in Los Angeles County
