Immunize Nevada is participating in the 9 th Annual Polio Purple Pinkie Trail Run (5K Run/Walk and 10K Run) and we need your help! The event is on Saturday, May 5 from 9am to 12pm, at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park (1595 N. Sierra St., Reno, NV 89503). This trail run and walk benefits the Rotary’s Foundation’s Polio Plus Fund, Immunize Nevada, and the RSC Rotary Foundation Inc.
We are in need of about 15 volunteers to help at aid stations and different locations throughout the run. You might have to walk to certain places, maybe uphill, maybe far distances; so please be sure to wear shoes, a hat, sunscreen, etc. I will need to know if you are able to volunteer by April 9, so that we can order you a shirt before the event.

Immunize Nevada is a statewide network of individuals, businesses, public health entities and organizations committed to improving and protecting the health of children, teens, adults and seniors in Nevada.
Established 17 years ago as a small group of citizens concerned about Nevada’s immunization rate being the lowest in the country, Immunize Nevada now consists of more than 100 members working together to help improve the health of Nevadans through vaccination awareness, outreach and education.
Immunize Nevada is pleased to announce that we have been certified by Points of Light as a Service Enterprise! A Service Enterprise is an organization that fundamentally leverages volunteers and their skills throughout their organization to successfully deliver on its social mission.
